Paul never expected Dink or Die, his account of the Pickleball Murders, to become anything more than a way to tell an unbelievable true story. Instead, the book became an unexpected success. By then, however, he and Ross were already familiar faces around Cape Henlopen—for reasons that had far less to do with writing than with an unfortunate habit of finding themselves at the center of murder investigations.

When the book's success leads to an opportunity to bring a nationally known drag performer to Lewes for a fundraiser, he and Ross are delighted to help.  It should be the social event of the summer.

Instead, it becomes the town's latest murder investigation.

When the ambitious manager of a popular local drag club is found dead just hours before the performance, Paul and Ross are once again drawn into a mystery. They discover that behind the rhinestones, standing ovations, and carefully rehearsed lip-sync performances lies a community where old rivalries never quite leave the stage

With help from neighbors Frank and Betty and their well-meaning friend at the Lewes Police Department, Paul and Ross set out to uncover the truth before the killer has a chance to silence anyone else.

Death at the Drag Show is the fourth Cape Henlopen Mystery, where murder takes center stage and everyone has a part to play.
